Material Introduction
COTTON
Cotton is a natural fiber that grows on a plant. Cotton fiber is twisted into cotton yarn, which is the most widely used in the textile industry. The famous cotton material resources include Cotton USA, Egyptian Long Fiber Cotton, Pima Cotton, etc. Cotton is comfortable, moisture absorbing, consistent, easy to dye, and breathable. It is the best choice for baby clothes, and sensitive skin users.
LINEN
Linen yarn is spun from flax plant fibers, it is an old raw material that has been used for a very long time in human history. It has excellent properties such as toughness, moisture absorption, breathability, anti-corrosion, anti-bacterial, and low electrical conductivity. Linen yarn is not easy for dyeing and showing vivid colors, so it is often spinning with other materials in the application of socks.
WOOL
Wool yarn is the most widely used animal fiber, and it has a 100% recycling rate. It is an excellent textile material which is high-quality, warm, comfortable, breathable, elastic and durable, beautiful, and sustainable.
They are mostly used in outdoor sports socks, such as hiking socks and ski socks. Because of its advantages, Merino wool is the main wool yarn we use.
Wool is widely used in clothing, home textiles and other fields, so how to obtain the raw materials becomes an important issue. The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) is regarded as a global standard, which is a best tool for the textile industry to verify and assure the global farmers provide wool comes from humanely treated sheep.
COFFEE YARN
Coffee yarn is recycled from coffee grounds , which turns coffee waste into a useful material. It not only second uses raw materials, but also greatly reduces the waste produced by traditional yarn spinning process. Besides its sustainability, it also has excellent properties such as odor control, quick drying, and UV resistance.
PET BOTTLE YARN
Recycled polyester yarn is recycled from disused PET bottles. It is an environmentally friendly and sustainable textile that does not produce heavy metal pollution during the recycling process, and can reduce the negative impacts of plastic waste on the environment.
RECYCLED NYLON YARN
Recycled nylon is a material recycled from nylon waste generated in the textile production process. As the global awareness of sustainability is growing, waste recycling of the non-degradable plastics has become an important raw material acquisition, which helps to minimize the impact of plastic waste issues.
SILVER FIBER YARN
Silver fiber yarn has natural antibacterial, anti-odor, body temperature-regulating and anti-static functions. The technology sputters antibacterial and deodorizing ions onto other fibers and combines them with silver fibers which could make the fiber stable and durable. Silver fiber has high washing resistance, at the same time, it makes the fiber hard to dye. it mostly shows when dyeing into black and white colors.
